This is the cover art for comicstrip "Ubunchu!", which I wrote for a magazine featuring Ubuntu Linux OS. Yes, Here in Japan, magazines full of high-tech knowledges are also full of comic strips as well. Thanx!
And also, because you've been more than gracious enough to share your source PSDs with us, I'd like to share Risa-tan's source SVG with you too. It's the SVG file entitled "rtl-01b-instructions.svg" in the below archive:
I painted this pic with Photoshop. So I have the source image in pixel only, not in vector. But if it's OK, I uploaded the original photoshop file with layers,in much larger image size. I'm looking forward to your mashup! Think you
Wow thanks for the psd, I'm going to have to wait so I can buy more ram though, Gimp chewed through 1GB of ram and 1GB of swap trying to load that sucker and still didn't manage it. What kind of beast of a workstation do you use to create such monstrous files? (perhaps it loads better in photoshop?)
I hope I could, but I do not use any kind of beast workstation I just use a kitty kind of personal PC with Core 2 Duo E6400 Machine and 2GB RAM.... mmm there could be some defference between GIMP and Photoshop about handling of psd files.
I resized the file from 600dpi to 300dpi , tested it to be opend with GIMP on Windows XP,and uploaded it again as the same filename. Try this new file. And if it would'nt work, tell me again. Thanks!
